How do I book online?

What is there to do locally?

There are countless exciting activities and events in and around Tynemouth. Locals and travellers alike, enjoy the authentic market stalls, local food, as well as art & theatre productions. If you are feeling a little on the wild side, a trip to the surf school may be something of interest. Tynemouth is surrounded by nature where you can cycle and hike to your hearts content, knowing full well you can come back to the comfort of The Lodge when the day is done.

What about going out for food and drink?

Tynemouth boasts many independent food and drink venues, ran by local business owners amongst the community. Some our personal favourites include The Cumberland Arms, where you can enjoy gourmet grub, local ales and cocktails. We would also recommend Riley’s Fish Shack, who work with local suppliers for their products.

How many can stay at Longsands Lodge?

At Longsands Lodge, we are able to host up to 10 guests in our spacious holiday home. Configuration of the beds can be selected to suit your needs. Making it the perfect getaway for families all year round!

… And what about my Pets?

Tynemouth village is renowned for its community of dog owners and we are happy to have your canine friends stay with us. However, we do charge £20 per dog. This can be selected during the booking process for Longsands Lodge.
