Bonfire Night on North Tyneside
This bonfire night, the annual North Tyneside Fireworks Display takes place, just a stone’s throw from Longsands Lodge.
Families from across the North East gather for the magical experience which takes place in Whitley Bay.
The firework display is an annual tradition, where thousands of people gather to witness the exhilarating firework display overlooking the North Sea, off Whitley Bay, relishing the warming bonfire against the autumnal evening.
Admission is completely FREE
Admission is completely FREE and there is plenty to keep the little ones busy, with fairground rides and refreshments on from 6pm just before the firework display starts at 7pm.
The Metro is the easiest link to the event, running frequently every 10 minutes, as traffic may pick up a little more than usual.
Whitley Bay Metro station is just two stops away from the Tynemouth station, with a journey time of around 5 minutes!
